Syncor to buy Advanced Isotope

Radiopharmaceutical provider Syncor International of Woodland Hills, CA, has a signed of letter of intent to acquire cyclotron developer Advanced Isotope, which plans to soon open two FDG sites in Florida. The firms had announced a supply partnership in March (see below). Nashville, TN-based Advanced Isotope's Ft. Lauderdale site is set to open within 15 days, while the Orlando facility is expected to open in approximately 60 days.
