The burgeoning PET market is giving a lift to Mobile P.E.T. Systems. The San Diego provider of PET imaging services this week reported sharply higher revenue for its third quarter (end-March 31), while the company's net loss shrank.
For the quarter, Mobile P.E.T. recorded revenue of $2.3 million, a sales increase of more than six times the $327,000 posted in the first quarter of 2000. The company reported a net loss for the most recent period of $2 million, compared with $2.8 million in the same quarter last year.
The company is projecting total revenues of $7.5 million for the 2001 fiscal year (end-June 30), and about $16 million for the calendar year.
