GE finalizes Coincidence Technologies purchase

GE Medical Systems has completed its acquisition of Coincidence Technologies, a Belgium-based manufacturer of synthesis and handling units for PET radiopharmaceuticals. The Waukesha, WI-based vendor said the purchase is another step in building its business in the emerging field of molecular imaging. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
