Amersham Health has launched MPOptions, a software tool designed to help identify, measure, and manage the component cost of delivering myocardial perfusion imaging studies.
Available on a CD-ROM, the MPOptions software allows private practice or imaging center managers to analyze costs of categories such as labor, capital equipment, facilities, pharmaceuticals, and supplies, according to Amersham Health of Princeton, NJ. Benchmark data gathered from multiple test sites is included.
Amersham said the software can be customized to calculate the costs of many common nuclear imaging practices and procedures.
