Medical imaging software firm Syntermed introduced Nuclear Cardiac Toolbox at this week's 2002 Society of Nuclear Medicine meeting in Los Angeles. The toolbox provides a package of PC software tools for processing, displaying, interpreting, analyzing, and reporting SPECT myocardial perfusion studies, according to the Atlanta-based firm.
The toolbox can transfer data from multiple nuclear imaging file formats onto one system for review and processing, according to Syntermed. Nuclear Cardiac Toolbox is an evolution of the Emory Cardiac Toolbox; Syntermed chief scientific advisor Dr. Ernest Garcia developed Emory Cardiac Toolbox along with colleagues at Emory University, also in Atlanta.
