Gamma camera developer Digirad has debuted CardiusSST, a dual-head, solid-state nuclear cardiology imaging system. CardiusSST is smaller and weighs less than conventional gamma cameras, allowing for use in spaces as small as 7 x 8-feet, according to the San Diego-based vendor.
Digirad will display the new system at the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology convention, to be held September 26-28 in Baltimore. CardiusSST is scheduled for release in September, according to the firm.
