Radiopharmaceutical provider P.E.T.Net Pharmaceuticals, a subsidiary of CTI Molecular Imaging, has partnered with Lawrenceville, NJ-based Nelson Professional Sales, a contract sales organization for pharmaceutical marketing and sales-service. The alliance will permit the Knoxville, TN-based P.E.T.Net to launch a U.S. program to market PET imaging to oncologists, P.E.T.Net said.
The firm believes that by educating this physician group on the value of PET in diagnosing, evaluating, and treating cancer patients, there will be an increase in the number of PET scans ordered.
