GE Medical Systems is launching Millennium Myosight, a new dedicated cardiac gamma camera, at the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology conference in Baltimore this week. The camera features a dual-detector, variable-angle design that performs all cardiac imaging procedures, including 180- and 360-degree SPECT in either the 101- or 180-degree detector orientation, according to the Waukesha, WI-based vendor. The camera operates in concert with GE’s Genie acquisition station and supports the company’s optional Millennium Acuscan transmission mapping tool.
