Solid-state gamma camera developer Digirad recorded revenue of $11 million in the third quarter (end-September 30), up 39% compared to $7.9 million in the third quarter of 2001. The privately held San Diego-based firm did not release profitability figures.
David Sheehan, president and CEO, said the company has shipped the first of its new Cardius dual-head solid-state cameras to customers. In addition, the company’s imaging services division, Digirad Imaging Solutions (DIS), achieved record revenue, Sheehan said.
