US Oncology adds to PET network

US Oncology cancer centers in Texas and Illinois have added PET imaging capabilities. Northwest Regional Cancer Treatment Center in Niles, IL, has installed a fixed-site PET scanner. In addition, a mobile PET unit will serve three cancer center locations in Texas: Texas Oncology in Abilene, Edwards Cancer Center in Bedford, and Texas Oncology in Fort Worth, according to the Houston-based cancer-care network.
