Hitachi Medical Systems America of Twinsburg, OH, and Kingsley Coach of Middleburg, PA, have joined forces to deliver the first in a series of planned mobile PET systems. The SceptreXL PET, manufactured by CPS Innovations (a division of CTI Molecular Imaging) of Knoxville, TN, is being distributed by Hitachi.
In addition to the PET unit, the system also includes Hitachi’s Avia workstation with fusion 7D software. The initial system is slated for delivery to a radiology group practice in Lakeland, FL.
