Software developer Research Systems displayed the new Watsyn version of the Emory Cardiac Toolbox at the 2002 RSNA meeting. The new version of Emory’s popular cardiac software includes the capability to export cine images to AVI format, to toggle between two or more sets of images, and a batch mode that reduces the time required for physicians to interpret multiple patient studies, according to the Boulder, CO-based subsidiary of Eastman Kodak.
Other new features include usability and user interface enhancements, as well as a standard "look-and-feel" for existing and future components, RSI said. ECTb 3.0 is scheduled for release in the third quarter of 2003.
