CVIT shows nuclear medicine software

Cardiovascular Imaging Technologies demonstrated its range of nuclear medicine software to attendees at the Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM) meeting in San Diego.

The Kansas City, MO, company highlighted its Imagen Pro and Imagen Pro MD software for processing PET and PET/CT studies. The software is used to register transmission and emission datasets to ensure that both versions of data are in proper alignment, according to the company.

Imagen Pro is targeted at technologists performing studies, while Imagen Pro MD is used by physicians conducting quality control of the technologist's work. The software also integrates with standard cardiac reading applications, according to the company.
