Medical isotope developer IsoRay Medical said it has begun production testing the creation of cesium-131 at the Idaho National Laboratory in Idaho Falls.
The Richland, WA-based firm said that reactor irradiation is a key step in the isotope production process that was launched in December 2005, when a collaboration and partnership agreement involving Idaho National Laboratory, IsoRay, and Bannock Development was announced.
