Belgian nuclear medicine products firm Ion Beam Applications (IBA) said it has reached an agreement in principle with the Turkish Atomic Energy Authority (TAEK) for the delivery of a facility to produce radioisotopes with a cyclotron.
The project encompasses IBA's Cyclone 30, a 30-million-electron-volt (MeV) cyclotron. The value of the project is more than 10 million euros ($12.8 million U.S.), according to Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium-based IBA.
