PET developer Positron of Houston has entered into a partnership with MIMvista, a Cleveland-based developer of advanced visualization software for nuclear medicine.
Positron will be including MIMvista's MIMcardiac display and analysis software with its mPower brand PET systems.
The software can register 3D CT coronary angiograms (3D CTCA) and functional cardiac studies, as well as triangulate between 3D and cross-sectional images. It also fuses static and gated functional images including stress/rest metabolism/perfusion studies for evaluation of ischemia and infarction. Automatic calculation of cardiac volumes and ejection fraction are also included, Positron said.
