Radioisotope and radiopharmaceutical developer Eckert & Ziegler Strahlen-und Medizintechnik of Berlin reported record revenues for the company's fiscal 2006 third quarter (end-September 30).
The firm reported that third-quarter sales reached 12 million euros ($15.3 million U.S.), putting total sales for the year to date at 36 million euros ($46 million). The company noted that growth was especially dynamic for its prostate cancer implants and tumor radiation systems.
Eckert & Ziegler posted net income of 2.1 million euros ($2.7 million) for the first nine months of its fiscal year, and said it expects to see year-end net income of 2.5 million euro ($3.2 million).
