Gamma camera developer Dilon Technologies of Newport News, VA, has expanded its reach to the Asian market with a distribution agreement for its Dilon 6800 gamma camera with radiology products distributor Hongwoo Medico of South Korea.
The agreement gives Hongwoo Medico exclusive sales and distribution rights in South Korea. Hongwoo Medico's customer base includes large- and medium-sized hospitals and breast clinics, according to Dilon.
The Dilon 6800 gamma camera performs what Dilon calls breast specific gamma imaging (BSGI), a complementary diagnostic tool to mammography for women at high risk for breast cancer.
