(Booth 7700) Nuclear medicine developer MedX of Arlington Heights, IL, will have its C-Quest compact dual-head dedicated cardiac gamma camera on display at RSNA 2008.
The C-Quest also features an intuitive touchscreen for quick scan setup, fixed 90° digital detectors, and lightweight collimators that can be changed by hand.
C-Quest is controlled by MedX's newly updated NuQuest acquisition and processing workstation for enhanced cardiac images. This product currently is a work-in-progress and is pending U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance. MedX anticipates commercial availability of C-Quest in the U.S. before the end of this year and shipments to the rest of the world in the third quarter of 2009.
MedX plans to market C-Quest to cardiologists, with an emphasis on cardiac SPECT.
