Radiopharmacy organization UPPI-PET of Suwanee, GA, has signed a deal with Lantheus Medical Imaging of North Billerica, MA, to collaborate in developing a new PET myocardial perfusion agent.
UPPI-PET affiliates Biotech of Phoenix; Essential Isotopes of Columbia, MO; Precision Nuclear of Tennessee and Virginia; and Triad Isotopes of Norcross, GA, will manufacture radiopharmaceuticals for Lantheus as it conducts clinical trials of BMS-747158-02, currently in phase II trials.
UPPI-PET represents 28 independent PET radiopharmacies and 100 nuclear pharmacies across the U.S.
