Dilon Technologies has released a software upgrade for its Dilon 6800 molecular breast imaging device.
The upgrade includes image processing enhancements and complements the device's Slant15 collimator for breast imaging and Low Energy High-Resolution collimator for general nuclear medicine, according to the Newport News, VA-based vendor.
Processing protocols for pediatric lung and renal imaging, as well as gallbladder scanning, are now standard in the upgraded package. Other enhancements include an onscreen measurement toolkit to help determine lesion size and location in breast imaging, according to Dilon.
