Cardiac molecular imaging company Positron of Fishers, IN, has signed a partnership agreement with MedAxiom, a subscription-based service provider and information resource for cardiology practices.
MedAxiom's network is comprised of more than 300 practices, representing 5,400 physicians covering 45 states across the U.S. Partnering with MedAxiom gives Positron access to cardiology practices that are in Positron's market; because of the shortage of molybdenum-99, more MedAxiom members are looking at alternatives to technetium-based SPECT imaging, such as PET, Positron said.
