PETNet Solutions, a subsidiary of Siemens Healthcare in Malvern, PA, has opened a new radiopharmaceutical production facility in Sydney, Australia.
The $10 million Lucas Heights facility includes two medical cyclotrons that will produce FDG for use in PET imaging. It is a collaboration between the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organization (ANSTO) and Siemens, according to PETNet.
