Mobile imaging services firm Nuclear Medicine Professionals (NMPI) has launched a fifth mobile nuclear camera route.
The company said the fifth gamma camera was added due to increasing demand for in-office imaging services, as medical practices look for alternate revenue streams to compensate for Medicare reimbursement cuts.
The Gainesville, FL, company plans to add a sixth gamma camera by the end of the year, about six months ahead of the company's schedule.
