Optical molecular imaging developer ART Advanced Research Technologies has introduced a new version of its Optix preclinical imaging system, Optix MX3.
The system has been redesigned to allow for new capabilities such as the ability to image red fluorescent proteins, Q-dots, and the complete spectrum ranging from 450 nm to 850 nm with its tunable laser, according to the Montreal-based firm.
ART has also included a CT fusion software package, allowing researchers to export scans in DICOM format and fuse them with micro-CT studies for a 3D anatomical reference.
