VisEn debuts new agents

Optical imaging developer VisEn Medical has introduced two new imaging agents at this week's 2010 European Molecular Imaging Meeting (EMIM) in Warsaw, Poland.

ProSense 750 Fluorescent Activatable Sensor Technology (FAST) is designed for imaging of cathepsins, which are biomarkers for diseases such as atherosclerosis, oncology, pulmonary pathologies, and arthritis. Neutrophil Elastase 680 FAST is targeted for imaging of inflammatory elastase activity associated with disease progression and therapeutic response, according to the Bedford, MA-based company.
