GE Healthcare of Chalfont St. Giles, U.K., has inked a collaboration with its Medical Diagnostics Imanet business and Neuroimage of Toronto to develop neuroimaging and biomarker technologies to support clinical trials.
GE's Imanet network of PET imaging sites provides assistance in PET imaging-based clinical trials. Neuroimage is a brain imaging contract research organization that handles projects with more than 60 leading scientists in different subspecialties contributing on an as-needed basis. The agreement will make it easier for companies and research facilities to get support for drug development programs, according to GE.
