Molecular imaging developer Positron of Fishers, IN, has opened its new production facility in Indiana for manufacturing both radioactive and nonradioactive pharmaceutical products and devices.
The approximately 10,000-sq-ft facility has room for expansion and features clean room space and laboratory equipment to support the production of pharmaceutical and support products for both industrial and medical use.
Given its amenities, products from the facility will meet or exceed U.S. Food and Drug Administration current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) rules, Positron added.
