Imaging agent developer ImaginAb and GE Healthcare unit Imanet have inked a master service agreement for preclinical and clinical imaging.
The Imanet network of PET imaging sites provides support for PET imaging trials with more than 40 PET research tracers. The deal supports ImaginAb's development strategy for its pipeline of PET imaging agents based on recombinant antibody fragments, according to Inglewood, CA-based ImaginAb.
ImaginAb said the Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based firm's Imanet network of PET imaging sites and radiochemistry experience will be invaluable for both its internal products as well as its pharmaceutical partnerships. The company said it also intends to work with Imanet to validate its library of preclinical imaging probes for microPET and microSPECT imaging.
