Radiopharmaceutical developer IBA Molecular has acquired PETLinQ of McLean, VA, an education and software company serving the hospital, outpatient radiology, PET, and nuclear medicine markets.
The Gif-sur-Yvette, France-based division of Ion Beam Applications (IBA) plans to continue to develop and broaden PETLinQ's products and services globally, including RISLinQ, PETLinQ Premium image/report distribution and archival products, PETLinQ-IQ educational services, and the LMS Online learning management system.
IBA Molecular also named Michael Hickey as president of IBA's Molecular Tracers North America division.
Hickey spent 24 years with London-based AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals in positions that included marketing, sales, and general management.
