Lantheus, Siemens invited to QCEIP

Lantheus Medical Imaging of North Billerica, MA; Malvern, PA-based Siemens Healthcare's Diagnostics division; and Baxter International of Deerfield, IL, have been selected to participate in the QUEST Comparative Effectiveness and Innovation Program (QCEIP).

The voluntary program is an initiative from group purchasing organization Premier of Charlotte, NC, designed to test products and clinical interventions in real-world settings at Premier alliance hospitals.

QCEIP will work to generate objective results to help healthcare providers better understand patient outcomes associated with the use of certain products.

All healthcare suppliers nationwide were eligible to join QCEIP, regardless of whether the company has a supply contract with Premier.
