The Society of Nuclear Medicine Technologist Section (SNMTS) has relaunched its Professional Development and Education Fund (PDEF) to support the advancement of molecular and nuclear medicine technologists through clinical excellence and optimal patient outcomes.

The PDEF, which was created in 2001, will shift from providing continuing education and certification opportunities to creating a program to fund professional development opportunities.

Through the PDEF, corporate entities, academic institutions, and individuals can contribute financial support to technologist-related programs and activities.
