Toshiba makes 1st PET/CT installation in U.S.

Toshiba America Medical Systems announced it has installed its first Celesteion PET/CT scanner in the U.S., at an outpatient imaging center in Las Vegas.

Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging said the new wide-bore PET/CT system enables it to scan a variety of patients without sacrificing comfort, as well as to plan radiation therapy with both PET and CT.
