Radioisotope manufacturer International Isotopes posted revenue gains and a lower net loss for its second quarter and first six months of 2018.
Revenue in the second quarter increased 34% to $2.4 million, compared with $1.8 million in the second quarter of 2017. The company's net loss decreased by 45% to $332,000, compared with a net loss of $602,000 in the same quarter of 2017.
For the six-month period, revenue increased 43% to $5.2 million, compared with $3.6 million in the same period of 2017. The company's six-month net loss decreased 79% to $280,000, compared with $1.4 million in the first half of last year.
The company attributed its revenue increases and decreased net losses to the performance of its cobalt, nuclear medicine, and radiological services business segments.
