Radiation detection technology firm Kromek has secured two contracts worth a total of $1 million (870,000 euros) with a new OEM customer and an existing bone mineral densitometry customer.
In the nuclear medicine field, Kromek has been awarded a $700,000 (611,000 euros) order from an OEM customer to supply its cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) detectors. In bone mineral densitometry, Kromek received a repeat contract of $340,000 (297,000 euros) for CZT-based detectors for the customer's existing product line.
Both contracts start immediately, with one delivered over an 18-month period and the other within the current financial year, the firm said.
