Toshiba America Medical Systems has introduced its breast SPEEDER coil, a seven-channel coil designed to improve diagnosis and interventional breast procedures on its Vantage MRI system line.
The coil has a design that allows clinicians to perform lateral and medial MRI-guided interventions through open lateral sides, Toshiba said. Interventional workstations also can be employed to enhance accuracy when performing interventional breast procedures, according to the Tustin, CA-based firm.
