CE Mark for MR Instruments

MRI device developer MR Instruments of Minneapolis reported it has received European CE Mark approval for its transverse electromagnetic (TEM) single-channel, transmit/receive, 15-element tuned-array head and extremity coils for 3-tesla MRI.

The coils, marketed under the brand name Cheetah Coils, are also FDA-cleared, making them now available in the U.S., European, and Asian clinical markets, the company said.
