IRadimed has launched two new accessories for its 3850 MRidium MRI infusion pump.
IRadimed released the nonmagnetic infusion pump in April, which is the only IV system approved for use with 3-tesla MRI units, according to the Winter Park, FL-based company.
The new 3855 MRidium remote control option will allow healthcare providers to view and control the 3850 MRidium MRI infusion pump without having to stay in the MRI room during the scan.
IRadimed also introduced the 1057 MRidium vented syringe adapter IV set, designed for medication delivery via syringe. The syringe adapter allows a clinician to deliver fluids in syringes from 10-60 mL, while using only 4 mL to prime the microbore tubing set.
