MRI contrast developer Epix Pharmaceuticals has hired healthcare consulting firm Health Advances for assistance in the analysis and potential acquisition of a smaller biotherapeutics company.
In other news, Epix has hired Philip Chase as interim vice president and general counsel. He comes to the Cambridge, MA-based firm after serving as chief corporate counsel, associate general counsel, and secretary at Transkaryotic Therapies.
