MR developer Paramed Medical Systems said it will install its MROpen scanner at one of American Health Imaging's facilities in the greater Atlanta area.
MROpen has an open U-shaped design that allows patients to undergo MRI exams in a wide array of seated or standing positions, according to the company. The scanner also eliminates the need for helium refills due to its use of a cryogen-free superconducting magnet.
