Siemens unveils IMRT improvements

Siemens Oncology Care Systems Group has introduced IM-MAXX technology for use with its Simtec intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) delivery system. Designed for complex IMRT cases, the IM-MAXX enhancement speeds the dynamic control of IMRT treatment delivery to increase productivity in radiation therapy, according to the Concord, CA-based vendor.
