Marconi Medical Systems has announced its intent to sign a global distribution agreement with radiotherapy firm Elekta Oncology Systems of Stockholm, Sweden.
Under terms of the deal, Elekta will be able to sell Cleveland-based Marconi’s AcQsim CT simulation system. Marconi will also continue to market AcQsim products through its own sales channels, and will service and support all AcQsim systems. Customers will be able to purchase the AcQsim system as a dedicated simulation package from Marconi, or in conjunction with a linear accelerator offering from Elekta.
