Radiation therapy vendor Varian Medical Systems has promoted executive vice president and COO Timothy Guertin to president and COO. In his new post, Guertin will have worldwide responsibility for the development, production, promotion, and sales of all Varian products and services, according to the Palo Alto, CA-based vendor.
Varian has also appointed Dow Wilson as executive vice president. Wilson had been serving as corporate vice president and president, oncology systems, and will continue to have the same responsibilities, Varian said.
