Electromagnetic localization developer Calypso Medical Technologies of Seattle has installed its Calypso 4D Localization System at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center of the University of Miami Health System in Miami.
The system is designed for precision-guided radiation therapy delivery to the prostate with continuous organ motion detection and monitoring.
Calypso also helps physicians detect tumor movement in real-time for enhanced, accurate radiation therapy without damaging healthy surrounding organs and tissues.
