Nucletron's Flexitron brachytherapy treatment delivery system has treated its first patient in the U.S.
The Veenendaal, Netherlands-based radiation oncology firm's technology was used at the Cancer Specialists of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.
Flexitron utilizes a 40-channel radiation delivery system and is integrated into Nucletron's high-dose-rate brachytherapy afterloaders, applicators, and treatment planning products.
