UVA buys Elekta's Leksell

Swedish oncology firm Elekta of Stockholm has taken an order for its Leksell Gamma Knife Perfexion from the University of Virginia (UVA) Health System in Charlottesville.

Elekta will deliver the system this month, and UVA expects to begin treating patients in January 2010.
