Radiation therapy accessories provider Bionix Radiation Therapy has introduced an antimicrobial agent to its SecureVac cushion line.
The chemical agent adheres to the SecureVac cushion's nylon surface, creating a permanent barrier that destroys microorganisms upon contact.
The antimicrobial agent has proved to be effective in protecting against mold, mildew, and bacteria, according to the company.
