Image-guided therapy developer ViewRay of Oakwood Village, OH, will have its radiation therapy system tested by researchers at Siteman Cancer Center at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.
The ViewRay system, which currently is restricted to nonclinical research use, is designed to combine soft-tissue MRI during treatment so clinicians can see where radiation is delivered, potentially improving treatment success and reducing side effects.
