Varian brings Unique linac to Asia

Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems said that Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong has begun treating cancer patients using its Unique medical linear accelerator.

The treatment center is the first in Asia to offer RapidArc radiation therapy with the Unique radiation therapy system, according to the Palo Alto, CA-based vendor.
