Standard Imaging rolls out software updates

Radiation calibration and quality assurance company Standard Imaging has released updates to its PIPSpro and IMSure software packages.

Version 4.4 of PIPSpro quality assurance software adds an image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT) module to the software's specialized tool suite. The IGRT module allows users to track and study trends in the daily IGRT tests recommended by the American Association of Physicists in Medicine's Task Group 142, according to the company.

Version 3.4 of IMSure intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) planning quality assurance software incorporates stereotactic radiosurgery capabilities, including the calculation of cone-based delivery and cone-based arc delivery, the company said. Other enhancements include the ability to run on Windows 7, improvements to motorized wedge plan calculations with Elekta equipment, and compatibility with the latest treatment plans from Accuray and the Siemens Healthcare 160-leaf collimator.
